Great expectation for Euro Cross

Days before eve of the European Cross Country Championships in Italian town Chia, the strongest-ever Turkish squad is ready for big battle. Europe's fast-rising athletics nation Turkey have completed their preparation for the season's finale; European XC Champs. Turkey will send 32-strong full squad to 2016 Euro XC in Chia with the highest ever expectation. Turkish team have several European titlist on the field while Ali Kaya will compete in Italian town as a defending champion. Apart from 22-year old star, double gold medallist from Amsterdam 2016 Yasemin Can and 2014 Euro XC Champion Polat Kemboi Arikan also on the well-represented team. Turkey's main focus this year on senior level according to Turkish Athletics Federation President Fatih Cintimar, who is expecting possible 'double-double'. Cintimar said, "We have strong possibility to accomplish for senior level double-double in Italy. Most likely, we're gonna win both individual senior races in there, but also we're looking to get team titles" Turkish team aiming at least seven medals in Chia, one more from their best-ever results which came in 2014 edition.
